I can explain

This is my very first attempt at anything like this and have even suggested that people I know must be very egotistical to create their own blog or web site - as if the world wants to know their business! However, I have reconsidered this as of late and have considered that it might be therapeutic for me as well as an excellent way for people who have known and loved my mom over the years to share the life she has now. Many people call to check on her and I can easily share the struggles and crises. But you are all missing out on the day to day laughs and simple acceptance that we have come to know as a part of her life here. This is my attempt to tell you about her journey through dementia/Alzheimer's with love, humor and a deep faith that the Lord is blessing us abundantly in so very many ways! I hope you will join us once in awhile by logging on once in awhile. Remember, I am a beginner and my daughters Stacey and Erin are my consultants as I build this Blog. So please laugh with me rather than at me and come back for more.

You are already leagues ahead of the technophobic teachers I work with. I'm proud of you. You've come a LONG way since calling me long distance to find out how to underline on Microsoft Word. I love you. :)

Nice start! Good to hear everything is OK, and waiting to see every installment. Again, you're a step beyond me!
Talk to you soon!

Wonderful way to spin the circle of life. Leave it to you to find a way to encourage and relieve frustration at the same time. I can relate with the blessings and grunts....great idea of sharing. I'm with ya.

Great job Cheryl! Just because there's snow on the chimney doesn't mean the fires gone out. We're never too old to learn new things.Thank you for doing this. I am so excited to be able to keep up with the day to day things in Mom's life. Miss her a lot!
Love ya-David

Let me see if I can get this through.

I got the dumb comment through, now let me try a good comment.

This looks like such a good idea and I'm anxious to hear about how your Mom is doing. I wished I lived closer so I could visit more often. Let me see if I can get this one to you. Love ya, Aunt Dolly

Looks good to me. I wouldn't have a clue how to start a blog, although our 5 year old grandson in California has one of his own.
I can so relate. Even though Mom doesn't have Alzhiemer's, I imagine we have to deal with a lot of the same things. Right now Mom's favorite thing is Kleenex! She puts them everywhere! Then when she stands up they fall to the floor.
Keep laughing and trusting God to meet your needs.
